The plucky U10s showed that they are moving in the right direction with a much improved performance, eventually losing by a narrow margin to strong Northwich and Chester teams. The workrate, tackling and intensity of play was a marked improvement of the previous games.
There were a couple of candidates for player of the match. Super striker Woodmansey never stopped running, Mainwaring was awesome in defence but it was Captain Burns leading by example who took the accolade.
