Sensational Davenham hit top gear as they moved into the business end of their long league campaign and recorded their sixteenth straight league win to continue to lead at the top of their respective division.
After 2 minutes, Whitney opened up the scoring with a well placed header from a beautiful floated cross from Rogerson and this set the scene for the rest of the game as Davenham raced to a 7:0 half time lead. The pass and move football was exhilarating and striking clinical looks like Fridays training session paid off ;0)
Unlike the Goldmens last encounter, the Davenham hotshots maintained their excellent play throughout the entire 70 minutes and went on to score their 100th league goal of the campaign...........and then their 101st and 102nd. Special credit to TJ and Luke who netted eight goals between them, but for the second week running MOTM went to Magic Matty Stitch who bagged a clean sheet, a great goal and with confidence oozing through his game, was a worthy winner.
