We have 13 players signed sealed and delivered for the new season, don't want to sound like a moaning mertil as I am pleased with the quality of lads we have BUT obviously we do need more players. On most match days this leaves us with just 12 as Ross plays rugby most Sundays and thats his preffered sport so if illness creeps into one or two or a unexpected event happens we would have to cancel or forefit matches, this would obviously be a last resort.
I have been on at the lads about this all summer with little reward apart from the 3 new lads to replace, Toby, Will, Shay, Jack and Joe.
This week I have taken a day off work to run around dropping flyers in at schools, local pubs and shops. In the next 24 hours we will also have a advert on the club website, the cheshire fa site and the league site apart. I will also be holding a coaching session at Leftwich when the term starts (I hope). Apart from this, this is all I can do.
It would be a real shame if we had to forfit some games if we don't have enough players (we can play with 9 but will incure at £20 fine from the league) so I will be asking from a concencious effort from all to please try and turn up for all games and training.
