Goodbye from the Mistry's

Dear Ladies & Gentlemen and boys,

Just a note to say goodbye from Shaylen and me.

I was told yesterday by Mark & Chris that a more permanent position for Shaylen will be difficult for the next season for various reasons. I discussed with him last night (which was the hardest thing I had ever had to do) and we both agreed for him to step down and move on.

As you all know Shay and some your children have been together with DJFC since dribblers (5 years of age) and he has enjoyed all your friendship and company.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your friendship over the years and the times we had socialised together out of football hours & sometimes at training drinking cans of beer over touch line.

We will miss you all dearly and wish you the very best in success in the future.

Best regards
Muks, Kuki & Shaylen Mistry

Hi Muks,

Sad to hear that Shay is leaving mate. It feels like the end of an era as I remember those nights drinking beer watching the young DJFC dribblers.....

Just wanted to say good luck, from us, to Shay and to the other "long servers" who are departing, Will Nowell and Toby Lawrence.

Ross has chosen to play rugby next season but was planning to continue training with DJFC and pick up football again in year 8 but training has now moved to a Wednesday which is a night he can't do, so it may also be goodbye from us.

Anyway, best of luck from the Hodge's to all the departing lads

Paul
