I would just like to say a big thank you to all the parents who have supported me over the last 12months. After a lot of thought i have decided to resign and have informed Chris H.To all my budding football players, you have done me proud and the achievements have been fantastic. Keep up the good work lads and you'll all go far in life. It has been a roller coaster ride but also a pleasure. Dunc is also leaving the team with me and wants all his friends to do well.
Sorry to see you and Dunc go. Thanks for all your hard work over the last 12 months.

Thanks Alan for your hard work over the past 12 months. When you came in as our coach last year, we were in a position where the team was in real danger of collapsing - our previous manager and coach had left and there was very little parental involvement in running the team. We are in a much better position now, with Mark and Lee able to run the training sessions and with the help received from parents to rope off the pitch and set up goals etc. I have a few details to resolve here - like finding a winter-training pitch that's available at a time to suit Mark and Lee, but we've got a couple of months to sort that out! As with last year, I will be looking for as much help and support as possible on match days, but I know that I can rely on you all to do your bit. We're also disappointed to hear that Dunc. is going to be leaving the team and hope that you don't feel obliged to pull him out because you are ceasing your involvement. As I mentioned to you last night, Dunc's position in the team remains open if you should change your mind.
